VOORHEES TWP. -- A suspect was still being sought Saturday in a shooting in the township, police said.
Voorhees Township police were called to the 100 block of Kirkbride Road at 10:45 p.m. Friday to investigate the report of a shooting, according to Capt. Carmen Del Palazzo, a police spokesman.
Officers found an adult male who had been wounded multiple times, Del Palazzo said.
A suspect fled the scene and the search continued on Saturday.
The victim, whose identity was not released, was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, where he was listed in stable condition Saturday, Del Palazzo said.
The Voorhees Township Police Department and the Camden County Prosecutor's Office are investigating the shooting.
More details on the incident were expected to be released Saturday afternoon.
