The fire does not appear to be suspicious.
CAMDEN -- A fire in debris under an overpass has left a man with severe burns.
Camden County Spokesman Dan Keashen said the debris caught on fire around 6 a.m. under the Flanders Avenue overpass in the 1400 block of Admiral Wilson Boulevard.
The man was the only one injured of the three people at the fire scene, Keashen said. He was taken to Temple University Hospital Burn Unit and no update on his condition was available Saturday afternoon.
Keashen said the cause of the fire is undetermined but investigators found no reason to believe it is suspicious.
The fire was on the eastbound side of the boulevard, and all eastbound lanes were closed for most of the day Saturday while inspectors made sure the overpass was still structurally sound. The roadway reopened by 5 p.m.
