Six townhouses were evacuated while firefighters battled the blaze.
WINSLOW TWP. -- A fire in a townhouse on Candlestick Lane sent flames shooting out of the third-story windows around 5:40 a.m. Saturday.
The Winslow Fire Department said no residents were injured but a firefighter was evaluated on scene for a minor injury.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Camden County Fire Marshal.
In a statement, Winslow fire officials said the residents were awoken by a fire alarm. When firefighters arrived they found a fire on the third floor.
A total of six townhouses were evacuated, but when the fire was extinguished the damage was limited to the original townhouse. Fire officials did not say whether the home was habitable.
