GLOUCESTER TWP. -- Locks were chopped on Sunday at the annual St. Baldrick's Foundation event that raises funds for childhood cancer research.
The event, held at The Palace Catering along the Black Horse Pike, drew men and women of all ages and occupations. A classic car show was also held in conjunction with the event.
What's at the heart of St. Baldrick's Foundation is standing in solidarity with kids who have been diagnosed with cancer. The last three events have raised more than $100,000.
Two South Jersey children were also honored during Sunday's event: Nicole Cristella and Nico Cassabria -- both of whom have been made honorary members of the Blackwood Fire Company. Nicole's last scans have come back clean, but Nico is battling stage 4 neuroblastoma.
