A Barrington man is in police custody following an incident in Brooklawn.
BROOKLAWN -- A Barrington man is in police custody one day after allegedly pulling off an armed robbery of a Brooklawn bank, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.
Charles Patrick Lynch, 45, allegedly robbed the Wells Fargo bank along Route 130 at approximately 11:30 a.m. Monday, authorities said. Further, according to the prosecutor's office, he was armed with a handgun at the time and demanded money from the teller after entering the bank.
Emotions high as trio hauled into court
He received an undisclosed amount cash as a result of the heist, during which no one was injured. The prosecutor's office did not immediately say how Lynch was captured Tuesday.
Lynch is charged with first-degree armed robbery and was sent to the Camden County Jail following his arrest.
