Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Camden County presents a workshop on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. until noon. Workshop offers an introduction to the unique biology of the honey bee, how they organize their hives, make their honey and what beekeepers do in concert with them will be included. A fully assembled hive and equipment that beekeepers use will be available to examine.
This workshop will be held at the Camden County Environmental Center, 1301 Park Blvd. in Cherry Hill. Sign-in at 8 a.m. with the class starting promptly at 8:30 a.m. until noon. Pre-registration is required. Workshop fee is $10.

Rutgers Master Gardener of Camden County will also present a Rutgers Master Gardener Course for people who want to increase their knowledge of the garden, or if you are a novice gardener and want to learn more.
The Rutgers Master Gardener Course runs from Feb. 2 through April 28 from 9 a.m. until noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Registration is now open and runs through Jan. 30. The science-based course will be held at the Camden County Environmental Center, 1301 Park Blvd. in Cherry Hill.
